Letter from our CEO's Desk

Aside from being one of the most significant health events that have impacted India and its citizens, COVID-19 has had a defining impact on consumer behaviour, how products and services will be consumed by them and how businesses will need to adapt to the changes that this pandemic has brought about. As a Benefits Administration Company, Medi Assist continues to manage the evolving situation while closely monitoring the impact of COVID-19 on our communities, our customers, our partners, and our teams.

Through these times which have tested every constituent of the Indian healthcare industry; the flexibility, the resilience, the professionalism, and the unwavering focus shown by our employees on delivering the best possible service to our customers and business partners; every day, every hour continues to leave me with a tremendous sense of pride.

In many ways, the first wave taught us a few lessons and which helped us put together robust business continuity plans to be able to support our customers and business partners. For several months now, our teams across the country have been working remotely from home, collaborating using digital tools and resources provided to them thus ensuring support for our customers and their own well-being.

Part of “being there” for customers also meant that there was a need to continue to provide them with the necessary information about products, services, and their availability. We have closely monitored several pieces of information on the pandemic, both digital and real-world resources provided by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoFHW), state-level departments, medical fraternity, etc. and made them available to our customers.

While we continue to learn and adapt to these changes; Medi Assist stands firm to living our Motto “Every Employee A Partner, Every Customer A Commitment” and acting in more ways than one to make a genuine impact.

Please know that the entire Medi Assist community is continuing to do their part and we are here to serve you as and when needed. I am confident in the power of our people and of our collective ability to come out stronger through this.
